2nd to last playdate of the summer

Once again, our little group of mommies and pre-schoolers got together for a playdate. This one was Nemo themed, and Addison had a RIDICULOUS time on this giant waterslide. I really thought she would freak out, but apparently I was wrong! They had SOOOO much fun! Quenton also took his first ride in the swing. Oh my sweet boy is getting too big. And, Addie is almost 3! What!?!?!

Guppie Class

Addison started a second swim class the first week of August, (we had tried a class through the YMCA, but she didn't like it at all!). She LOVED this class. It was a private class through the sweetest teacher, in a small saltwater pool in her backyard. I was so proud of Addison! I am happy to report that she is diving off small diving boards, going under water, swimming fairly well with no swimmies and a little help from Mom or Dad, and swimming freely with swimmies! She also knows how to dive for toys! Can you believe it??? After one week!!!

A while back...

Aunt May-May, Lily Kate, and Jackson came to visit about 2 1/2 weeks ago, and stopped by the house for a little family time. Addison was SO pumped that Jackson and Lily Kate were here! Quenton spent most of his time "wooing" the ladies, and Addison had a blast. If Quenton could only understand that you can't date your cousin!!!!! I swear...Lily Kate was SO tolerant of the crazy boy climbing all over her. He doesn't stop moving...EVER!!!!

The Baby's Vacation - at Home!

Okay, so while Jae and I took a much needed vacation to Nashville this past weekend for 4 days, my parents came to watch the babies. I am PRETTY sure that they felt like they had a vacation of their own! Nana and Papi played, and played, and played, and then played some more! Everytime I called to check on them they were reading, playing dress up, jumping in the exersaucer, cooing, screaming with excitement or belly laughing.

My mom took these pictures of their little vacation...and she said that Addison requested "Take a picture with my eyes closed, Nana...that will be funny!" What a hoot! She is so stinking crazy! And, you can tell just how much Quenton loves his big sister...he stares at her ALL the time...









So, needless to say, I'm pretty sure the babies would have been JUST fine if we had stayed a few more days!!!

6 months old!!!!!!!!!

So, Quenton turned 6 MONTHS OLD today!!! Wow, how time flies. It feels as if it is going even faster with Quenton than it did with Addison! I can't stand it! Anyways, I thought I would just show you a little comparison of today, and 6 months ago...




He has his 6 month checkup and shots tomorrow, so I will let you know all of his "stats" tomorrow...

A new obsession with the mall...

Yep, my daughter is obsessed with the mall!!! Guess she gets that from me! Only, she is obsessed for a COMPLETELY different reason! There is a great play area at one of our malls, and Addison loved it! It is totally padded, with great climbing toys that are padded, too!!! Plus, it is right in the food court, so we can grab lunch right after playtime.
