Happy Birthday, baby girl!!!

My sweet baby girl is already ONE!!!! Emerson is the happiest, grinniest, sweetest, little bit ever. She is, for the most part, very laid back. That is, until someone takes something from her, or you walk away from her! We have a "breath-holder" on our hands (as the doctors will call it). She holds her breath until she passes out! Literally, passes out. But, as for the other 23 hours, 57 minutes of the day, she is happy, and calm! She absolutely ADORES her big brother and sister, and the feeling is mutual from them! I love watching them all interact together! She is not walking yet, but not for lack of being able to. She takes 3 or 4 steps here and there all the time, but then chooses to squat down, and crawl, because she can get to where she's going faster. Silly girl. She's signing please, thank you, more, and eat, so she's ahead of her siblings in that area! This is going to be a fun year ahead, and we had a great time celebrating her birthday with friends and neighbors! (Even if it was one of the hottest days of the year!) And...by the way, she has NO FEAR of her cake! She devoured it! It was absolutely hilarious! We even had to spray her down with the hose outside! However, she is not a fan of being the center of attention, as you'll see in the pictures where we are singing to her!
