Shady play...

I always seem to forget JUST how HOT it is in the summer. And, it's even worse in South Georgia! Ughhhh! Needless to say, I was trying to find somewhere shady to play with the babies while at my parents house. We found a playground that was completely shaded by trees. LOVE it! My kids LOVE playing outside, but they take after Jae and I, and you can totally tell when they are heating up...they are like little red tomatoes! Cracks me up.

One peach, two peach, three peach, four...

While Jae was in UCLA for another surgery, the babies and I went to my parents in south Georgia to bide some time. One afternoon we headed to a place called Lane Packing, where they have acres upon acres upon acres of peach and pecan trees.

Addison and I have been there before, but never went on the tour of the farms and plant. Actually, it was much more educational than I expected! Although it was TERRIBLY hot, we all had a great time. The kids had peach ice cream, and peach lemonade, played on the playground, watched the peaches being cleaned, stickered, checked, and boxed, and went on the farm tour.

Hippity Hoppity Frogs

Addison did WONDERFUL at her dance recital!!! We were so proud of her. She surprisingly wasn't nervous at all...which amazes me since we were in a HUGE auditorium FULL of people.

About 1/2 way through the performance, though...Addison's tap shoe came off. Yikes. EVERYONE in the audience started "awwwww, and oooooohing". She looked a little freaked out for a second. But, after trying to put it back on for a couple of seconds, Addison JUMPED onto her tap shoe, forcing it back on, and finished off her performance. Way to go big girl!

(By the way, these are from the dress rehearsal...they wouldn't allow cameras in the recital)

Fun in the sun

Okay, so this one not one of those days where I was prepared...my children didn't have bathingsuits, or a lunch, or sunscreen. Pretty much I just showed up to a playdate with NOTHING. Oops. I guess we're all allowed those days here and there. Who would have ever known that 5 kids could have SO much fun...

At long last...the beach.

We found all three of these cousins in the same cabinet/bookcase at one time...on three different shelves. Nice hiding spot...
