Wordless Wednesday

P.S. No, my son's nostril is not black...my photoshop did something funky while fixing red eyes...

He DID it!!!

Quenton slept through the night last night! He just started some reflux medicine yesterday, and I'm wondering if that has been his problem, because he had his last bottle at 8:45pm, and didn't get up again until 5:15am!!!!! For those of you mom's out there...you know how big of a difference this makes in your day!!! I am so excited, but not getting my hopes up for it to continue...we'll see.

The "no thank you bite"

Okay, I'm not sure where I heard this, but at some point, I picked up the "no thank you bite". Addison eats very well, but has never really taken to vegetables...so I have finally decided that she is old enough to "try" to eat what is on her plate, or she doesn't get anything else...

Here was our first attempt...with cheesy mashed potatoes.
\

P.S. I'm not sure she is really our child...Jae and I LOVE anything with cheese!!!!

Oh, the things we are learning!!!

Okay, its quite a hectic time around our house these days...we seem to always be travelling, and there is no end in sight...at least through the end of May! But our babies are still taking time to learn a few tricks!

Addison, has been helping Jae feed the dog as long as I can remember...but she has recently taken to doing it "ma-self" (myself). I caught her feeding him the ENTIRE container the other day! When I caught her, all she could say was "I sorry mommy...bu-bu's hungy"

Next, she has learned to roll her toungue (thanks Aunt Chey). It is hilarious!

Also, she has finally gotten the nerve to sit on the 4-wheeler with Jae. Up until now, she has been deathly afraid of it...but just the other day, she sat on it, and allowed Jae to drive up the driveway with it!

Quenton is learning A LOT, and I seem to have forgotten how quickly it all goes. He is smiling, cooing, and doing a lot of tummy time...and making friends with his play mat. The doctor diagnosed him with reflux today, so hopefully the Zantac will give us a happier baby. (Addison had it, too...so, I'm not too worried)

All in all, we are all doing well, and looking forward to our travels over the next few weeks. Oh, and if you haven't noticed...Quenton is beginning to look almost EXACTLY like Addison. Great, now they can both look just like Jae!

Wordless Wednesday

We're DONE...she is potty trained!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yippee! I feel like I can actually now say that Addison is completely potty trained! She started peeing on the potty around 2 years old, and then regressed towards the end of my pregnancy with Quenton. Then, she picked back up with the peeing, but was absolutely frantic when it came time to do the other...and I mean FRANTIC. She would wear big girl panties all day, and then when it came time for number 2...she would come running to me and say "mommy..I need a diaper!!!!!!" Then she would run around like a crazy girl, freaking out about going poopy! It was really odd, and Jae and I weren't sure what to do, but the doctor said just give her her space during that time...and she would come around. Sure enough, she did. Now we are completely potty-trained, wearing big girl panties ALL day long, even at school! She does still wear a night-time pull-up...but we are SOOO proud of her!

P.S. It doesn't hurt to do a little bribing! Daddy told Addison he would get her a GIANT CAKE if she went poo-poo on the potty...and it worked!!!
